Hi! My name is Alex
I'm a passionate creative professional with a diverse background spanning both government and freelance sectors. For the past three years, I've been a Motion Designer at CyberPoint International, initially under contract for the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC) of the DOD. My responsibilities expanded upon the formation of the Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO), where I took on the role of Creative Director, overseeing web and graphic design teams, managing digital multimedia creation, and spearheading the development of our organizational brand.
Additionally, I am volunteering my expertise as a Creative Solutions Consultant at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where I'm contributing to the Human Brain Collection Core of NIMH by implementing cutting-edge AI-powered imaging and processing techniques, designing 3D printed brain dissection molds, and developing OCR image recognition tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Before that, I spent nearly five years as a Freelance Creative under "Grafix By Alex," where I honed my skills in motion design, graphic design, and web development. Additionally, I had the privilege of collaborating with BlackRock on a sponsored course at SCAD, focusing on the re-imagination and digitalization of the client experience.
My journey began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Motion Media Design from Savannah College of Art and Design, and I've accumulated hands-on experience at various organizations, including WSB-TV, Roses Unlimited, First Presbyterian Church, and AT&T Mobile Tel. I thrive on creative challenges, technical problem-solving, and delivering impactful solutions that resonate with audiences. Let's connect and explore how my multifaceted skillset can contribute to your creative endeavors.
